C1TI' OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96 - 94 <br />BY: Councilwoman Janet Saringer <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIItECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS TO OLD TOWN HALL AND <br />DATA PROCESSING OFFICES AT CITY HALL AS DETAILED IN THE <br />SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT <br />FOR THE SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WMEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of improving the <br />records storage area of Old Town Hall and the Data Processing Offices and Conference Room, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared u.nder the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, TBEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TI-E COUNCIL OF TBE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for the improvements to the records storage area of Old Town Hall and the <br />Data Processing Offices and Conference Room according to specifications now on file in his <br />office and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter <br />into a Contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and fiarther <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor
