BE IT OP,DAINED by the Council of the City of North 0lmsted? State of Ohio: Section l: That Section 1 of Ordinance Tro, 29019 enacted Au;ust 18, 10,59, reading as follows: "Section ls That the Solicitor be authorized to employ a part-time sec-r•etary to assist in the typing of correapondence required by said office, and in the prepar- ation of legislation. That the compensatian of the part-time secretary assisti_ng tlle Solicitor shall be, commencing September 1, 1959, at the rate of Gne Hundred Twenty- Five Dollars (3125.00) per month from and after said date." be amended to read as follows: Section 1: That the Solicitor be authorized to employ a part-time secretar;y to assist in the typing of correspondence required by said office, and in the prepa,x- ation of legislation. That the compensation of the paxt-time secretary assisti.ng the Solicitor sha11 be, commenci.ng Aut.aust 1, 1960, at the rate of Two Hundred Fifty Dallars (a250.00) per month from and after said date. Section 2: `i'ha,t Section 2 of Urdinance No. 2901, enacted Au„rust 18, 1959, reading as follows: "Section 2s That the Auditor be authorized and directed to pay to the part- time secretary employed by the Solicitor the sum of Qne Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($125.00) per montht commencing September 1, 1959) and each month thereafter the sum of One Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars (?125.00) per month." be amended to read as iollowss Section 2: That the Auditor be authorized and directed to pay to the part- time secretary employed by the Solicitor the sum of TVro Hundred Fifty Dollars (sP%250o00) per month, comtnencing Aazgust l, 1960, and each month thereafter the sum of `1'wo Hundred Fifty Dollars (b250.00) per month. Section 3: ihat this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency aneasure necessaxy for the general welfare of the City of Tdoxth Qlmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue of the necessity of adjusting the salary of the part-time secret?-ay assisting the Solicitor, to be effective at the earliest possible date.
