CITY 0F NaRTH OLMSTED <br />RE54LUTION NQ. c? ?Q34K <br />. <br />B. <br />RESQI,UTI4N AUTHOR:LZING THE SERVI.CE DIRECTCH TO ADVMTISE <br />FOR BIDS FOR THE FAVING OF THE BERM IN FRflNT QF BDTTERNUT <br />SCHOOL3 AND DECI,ARING AN EMERGEi1CY. <br />"?=AS., the City and the School Board of the City of North 4lmsted <br />has determ:i.ned it necessary for the safety and health of the city, that the <br />berm in front of Butternut School be paved, the cost of which is to be equally <br />shared b3r the City and the School Board, an.d <br />1AMEAS., it may be desireable to pave the balance of the berm in <br />front of the High School to the easterly driveway of the High School, which <br />if undertaken.% will be at the Cityls exnense. <br />NW, THER:!]FflRE, BE IT RFSOLVED by the Council of the City of Nortr <br />07msted, State of Oh3.o: <br />Section l: That the Service Director be authorized to advertise <br />for bids for the furnishing of labor and ma.terial for the paving of the berm <br />in f'ront of Butternut School in aecordanee with the p3ans and specifications <br />on file in his office, and in the alternative to pavQ the remaining portion <br />of the berm from Butternut School to the easterly driveway of the Hi.gh School. <br />Section 2: 'i'hat this resolution is hereby decl.ared to be an emergency <br />measure and such emergency exists by vi.rtue of the immediate necessity of obtain-ing <br />bids for the paving of the term and it requiring to be completed before the <br />September term of school for the preservation of the health an.d sa£ety of the <br />school children and citizens of this City. <br />Section 3: Wh.arefores this resolution shall take immediate effect <br />from and after its passage, otherzaises at the earliest period allowed bv law, <br />? <br />PASSED <br />? <br />ATTEST : <br />. ? ? <br />Louzse H ., ler of ounci <br />Bruce MacDona d, esident o ounca. <br />Ak'PROVED: <br />. / ?-C,.
