<br />WHEPIHA,5, heretofore in the enactment of the 1eg3.slation for appropriation
<br />of current expenses and other expenditures for the City of ATorth Olmsted darivg the
<br />fisaal year ending December 31, 1964, it was provided in Seetion 4 thereof for en
<br />appropriation of $7,700.00 for certaa.n aewering and ditching work contemp3ated to
<br />be undertaken dusing said fiscal yeax, and
<br />?JHL3luAS, since the enactment of that ardznance, certain emergency expend-
<br />itures for sewering and ditching werk have axiaen necessitati.ng an adj'nstxent of said
<br />approgriation to duly appropriate the sum of Thi.rty `l'hota.saud Dollars ($309000.00)
<br />for such sewering and ditahing work to be perfoxmed duri.ng the czurrent ealeender
<br />year ending DeQember 31, 1960,

<br />performing emergency work on sewers and ditchea not contemplated at the time of the
<br />enactmest of said appropriaticui ordinanoe and in iieu of the eity receivin,g a,dditional
<br />flind,s permitting this energency sever and ditch work program being completed during
<br />this calender yeax.
<br />Seetion 2: 1'hat the fisaal officer o:f the City be anci is hereby aou.thorized
<br />to note said amendment to the appropriatiun ordinaace ref*rred to in Section 1 hereof
<br />and to notify all interested partiea of said amendment.
<br />Section 3: That this ordinance i$ hereby determined to be an emergency
<br />measnre necessary for the i.mmediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety
<br />and general welfaxe of the City, and such emergency exists by virtue of the impa:i.rment
<br />to the healths safety a.nd general welfare of the mmicipality in the area of Clague
<br />8oad near Marion lveme in eaid City, to 3mmedi.ately alleviate a very serious
<br />c3rainage problem whieh will, if permitted to continue, seriously impair the health
<br />and safety of residents in the area of saa.d drainage basin and will, if not immedi-
<br />ately attended to, impair values of propert3r and the city streets in said area.

<br />after its passa.ge, otherwise, at the ear2iest period allowed by law
