CITY OF NGRTH QIMTEI3 <br />ORDINANCE N0. -? ? f <br />By <br />(}RDINANCE AU'`.CHORIZING THE PAi'lT,hNT UF $15.00 TO F'IIOK KOBRIC l'OR <br />PROPERTY DAMAGE OCCASIONED B'Y POLICE ACTIVTTY Iil APPF+JXMDING A <br />ITOTQRIST, AIdD DECLAi3ING .AN E1,1ERGEfiTCY. <br />imEk3EA,S, Franlc Kobric, a resident of Cla,gue Road, :tvorth Olxnsted, (:}hio, has <br />made claim to the Council of the City of North Ol.msted for damages to his home, occasioned <br />by wild police bullets striking and d.ama,ging the same in the effort of police officers of <br />this city in apprehending a motorist seeking to avoid arrest, and <br />WF' J,' $ upon due consideration, the Council finds that a reasonable estir.zate <br />of Fifteen Dallars (315.00) wauld pei^mit the restoration of the property ta the condition <br />in which it was before said house was struck by wild police bullets, <br />NOW, THETiEIEUNE, Bv' I`r UaLDATNED by the Crnzncil of the City of Tlorth C}l.:risted, <br />State of OlLio: <br />Section l: Th.at the Council authorizes the payment of $15.00 to Frank Kobric <br />of Clague Iioad, North Ulmsted, Uhio, the estimated cost of restoring his hame to the can- <br />dition it was i.n before it had been damaged by wild nolice bullets, and that such claim <br />is being recognized by the city as a reasonable and just claim. <br />Section 2: lhat this ordinance is here'oy declared to me an emergency rneasure, <br />and such emergency exists by virtue of' the necessity of permitting necessa-ry repairs to thP <br />home of Frank Isobric, -,rhich home tiā¢ras damaged by wild police bullets in the course or a <br />police chase of a fleeing motorist seeking to avoid arresta and that such repairs should <br />be made promptly before unseasonable caeather sets in. <br />Section 3: 'vTherefore, this ordinance shall take immediate effect from and <br />after its aassa,?e, o-L-henrise, at the ea,rlicst period allowed by law. <br />7 <br />1' ? / <br />ASSLD: /???2/ ??" !i J <br />, . ? <br />E.
