CITY OF NORTH QLNSTED <br />PM0I,U1ION N0. a.&Z , <br />BY <br />RMOLUTION ACCEPIING THE ''MS ATdD CONDITZUNS QF `:cIM, I`EI7ERAI,, GTtAJ.VT <br />TQ lHE CITY QF Idf}RTH OIu?STED FY}R 1LSSTSTAIVCE Il`Z 1kiE COi:d5TRUC3'I6N OF <br />A SlUiITARY SLI1AGE TI3.i,.ATM44T PL91VT AIiD 5E'WERAGE LIl`TES Itd SAID CZi.'Y, <br />AI; DDEC IARIt1G ATT !ZIERGaICY. <br />WHEILW, it has been submitted to Coun.cil by the Service Director the proposed <br />terms upon -vzhich the Federal Government has issued a gras3.t to the city in the sum of Two <br />Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars (%??`250,000.00) for the sanitaxy sewage treatment plant and <br />sewerage system proposed to be constructed in said city, and <br />kMEEAS9 a review oF said terms and conditions contained therein have been <br />found to be acceptable, <br />zd0W, THER15'C)RE, BL I`1 s',ESULVLD by the Council of the City of North OlmstEd, <br />State of Qhio; <br />Section 1: That the terms and conditions under which the federal grant iar <br />aid in. the amount of $250,000.00 to the Cit;yr of North Olmsted i-ar the construction of <br />a sanitary sewage treatment plant and sewerage lines is issued are hereby founa to be <br />acceptable to said city and that the city uri2l comply therewith; that the Service D:irector <br />is hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behal.f of said city accepti.n.g the <br />grant under the terms and conditions therein contained. <br />Section 2: r.i'h,a.t this -resolution is hereby deteranined to be an emergency measu-=e <br />necessary for the imrnediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare of <br />the City of North Qlmsted and such emergency exists by virtue of thenecessity of immed- <br />iately approvi.ng the terms of the grant of aid proposed to be made by the govezrzment :Cor <br />the construction of a sanitary sei,rage treatmen.t plant and sewerage lines in accordance <br />with the plans and specifications prepared by Floyd Browne & xssociates, consulting <br />engineers, and further by virtue of the necessity of complying lwrith the time schedule <br />appearing in said terms and conditions and in accordance with the plans oF this city in <br />th.e construction of said sewerage sys'uem. <br />Section 3: I?lherefore, this resolution sha.ll take immediate effect fram anu <br />after its passage, otherti-rise, at the earliest periad allowed by laer. <br />PASSLD: 1 )? j' <br />A1T'??5T: <br />?? _ G Y "--'?-7.'?"' !"
