<br />WHURF45, Council ha.s determined to construct a z¢un.icipal sanita.ry sewage
<br />plant and trunk lines having a present estima,ted cost of f?ne Nlillion Seven Hun.clz ed
<br />Thousand Dolla,.rs ($I, 700, 000 .00) and
<br />UIfiEREAS, there has been placed upon the ballot for the approval of the electors
<br />at the genera,l, election to be held in Navember, 1959, the proposed i:suance of bonds of
<br />the city a.n the sura of $1,700,000.00 ior the purpose of constructing a sanitary scwage
<br />plant and trunk lines, and
<br />WHEREAS, it ha,s been deterrnined necessary by the Council that the la,w firm of
<br />Squire, Sanders & Dempsey be employed as special cotxnsel to the Solicitor in the pxepar-
<br />ation of the proceedings requisite f'or the issuance of said bonds,

<br />Section ls That the lww -firm of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey of Clevelauld, Ullio,
<br />be employed as special counsel to assist in the preparation of the necessary legislation
<br />and proceedings requisite sor the issuance and sale of bonds in the amount of 313,700,0'-0.00,
<br />the proceeds of srhi.ch are to be used ;for financing the construction of a saxiil;ary sewage
<br />plant and trunk lines. For such services to be rendered this Council authorizes the
<br />xrayment to sa,id fi:im of Squire, Sara,ders c; Dempsey the approximate fee to be hereinafter
<br />submitted and appraved by this Council for the services to be herei.nafter pEZformed by
<br />saa.d special counsel.
<br />Section 2s Th.at the Service Director is hereafter authorized to comrnit the city
<br />to the pa,yment of the fee to be hereafter agreed upon between said special caunsel and the
<br />city for the services referred to in Section 1 herein.
<br />Sec-tion 3: Wherefare, this oxdinance sha11 take iuanediate efFect lrom and after
<br />its passage, otherwise, at tcie eaxliest period allowed by 1aw.
