<br />WEL'RFA,S, Council of this city has heretofore, by Ii.esolution No. 2869,
<br />adopted and submitted the proposed budget of the Czty of North Olmsted for the fiscal
<br />year beginni.ng January l, 1960, and
<br />WHERE,A,S, said proposed budget was on or about July 16, 1959, deposited ?.rith
<br />the County Auditor for Cuyahoga County pursuant to Iiesolution 2869, a,nd
<br />WfiEtL;AS, Council had directed to ii;s attention that sai.d proposed budget tr_tis
<br />incomplete to reflect the estimated needs of this city at the time of its adopt-ion asid
<br />subsequent deposit with, the County Auditar af Cuyahoga County, and
<br />4IHEMA6, such omissions fram sai.d proposed budget as adopted had come to the
<br />attention of the hayor and at his recluest the Clerk of this Council was requested to
<br />obtain permission from the t;ounty Auditor to withdraw said buc3get heretofore deposited,
<br />and that the County Auditor did grant permission to the Gity of North Olms'ued to t?ithdraw
<br />said proposed budget and the sarie was EArithdratian .3nd presented to t;ouncil for rECOnsider-
<br />ation to correct the om.issions axld to complete tne budget for re-fili.n.g ?rrit?; the County
<br />Auditor of Cuyahoga County, a.nd
<br />&LWHEA6, saict omissions to per.mit the compietion of tne budvet were discussed

<br />the city, a.n its proposed sanitary sewera{;e -oro-olem, ?).nd such omzssions from the budget
<br />ha,ving been determined by Council -to be necessa,ry to be inserted to com ,lete the bud;et,

<br />Section 1: Thaz the budget of the uity of Nort'n Ulrxsted foa tije lisce-L year
<br />beginning J,snuary l, 1960, heretof'orQ j?rep,ared by the Auditor and sularnitted to th.is
<br />Council reflecti,ng omissions irom the budget heretofore adopted by Council by h'esolui;ion
<br />2869, enaci;ed June 30, 1959, be corrected a,nd completed to include additional needs aL ;,he
<br />city in the sum of ?2,465,040.00, being the total cost of trunk line and collector type
<br />sewers in the City of Ilorth Qlmsted to serve the eastes•ly an.d westerly portion of said
<br />city and the municipa.tities of Glmsted Falls, 4Jestview and the Tovmship of Olmstea, and
<br />that the aci;ual additional cost to th.is city in the constiuction of said trunk line
<br />sewers a,n.d colZec;;or type mains to peimi.t the servicing of Westview, Glmsted ':`alls end
<br />Olmsted Towmship is j668, 510.00, an.d such cost is not assessable to the city and is -an
<br />operating expense to this city.
<br />Section 2: l'he C1erk be and he is hereby authorized and directed ta certifiy
<br />a copy of uaid corrected and completed budget and a coDy of this resolution and to transrr:it
<br />the sa,me to the Auditor of Cuyaho;?a County, C7hio.
<br />Section 3: That t}iis iesolution is hereby declared to be aaz emergency measure
<br />necessary for the peace, safety and welfase os the City of T+1orth Ulmsted, ::md such emer,,?_ ,enc
<br />e<:ists by virtue of the neces5ity of ir?mediately correcting and completing the budget for
<br />-t'ni.s city far the fiscal year begi.nning January l, 1960, reflecting needs now l,mowm to
<br />the Council and not consider.ed at the tiine of 'Uhe enactmeilt of the 11esolu.tion No. ?86? on
<br />June 30, 10,59, thereby permittulg 'Vhe resubmission to -bhe County Auditor oa a correct(:a
<br />and complet-ed budget for the o-;:)?_-rating needs of tYis city for the fiscal year 1?j60.
