consumer to the Compan.y until such excess is fully paid by such credits; provided that if prior to the full payment of such excess by such credits any such consumer closes his account with the Compa,ny any rema,ining balance due shall be paid by cash or check. SECTION 2. At any time after November 25, 1960, the City, at its option, may elect to terminate this ordinance and the contract as to rates created by its acceptance by the Company, prior to its expiration by lapse of time., by reaolution of its Council duly passed, a certified copy of which shall be served upon the Company at its off'ice in the City of Cleveland, Ohio, which said resolution shall specify a termination date of not less than six months subsequent to the date of serving such copy of such resolu- tion; and at an.y time after said Novem.ber 25, 1960, the Company, at its option, may likewise so elect to terminate this ordinance and the contract as to rates created by its acceptance hereof, by serving written notice of such termination upon the City, which notice sha11 specify a termination date of not less than six months subsequent to the date of serving su.ch wxitten notice; and after service of such resolution or of such written notice, at the time therein fixed for such termination, this ordina.nce and such contract as to rates shall terminate.
