CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. ~°7 ~~ By Mr. ~.[x~J IlX_~-- ~wp ~_ AN ORDINANCE AI~TDING SBBSECTION (®) OF SECTION 6, ARTICLE TII OF ORDTNAH'CE N0. 2445 KNOWN AS THE COMPREHE~STVE ZONTNG ORDINANCE OF THE CTTY OF NORTH OLMSTID, BY REQIIIRTNG THE TNS2'ALLATIOB OF SANITARY SEWER FACILITIES IN THE STFik~E7,'S OF ALI- NEW ALLOTMENTS PROPOSED TO BE DEVELOPED IN THE CITY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. V~hereas, the City of North Olmsted has undertaken to desigxt a sanitary sewer system with treatment plant for the City of North Olmsted, and Whereas, it is desired that i.n all proposed streets in proposed subdivisions of lands within said city, subdivided in accordance with the ordinances of said city, showing the lands to be dedicated for public highway use within said propoffied. subdivis- ions or allotments will provide for the installation of sanitary sewer facilities at the time of the installation of the improvements required under the ordiaari.ces of said city for said subdivisions, thereby eliminating the later disturbance of the streets in said proposed subdivisions, NOW, THEREFOH~;, BE I•i ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohios Section 1s That Subsection (e) of Section b, Article III of Ordinance No. 2445 enacted March 19, 1957, reading as follows: (e) Where sanitary sewer facilities axe available, the allotter must install sanitary sewers of adequate size and depth, together with curb connections, to serve all lots in the subdivision. Storm sewers of adequate size for drainage of the street or streets, the lots fronting thereon, and the natural drainage intercepted by said streets, togehter with curb connections and othex appurtenances thereto must be installed by the allotter. Where sanitary sewers are not available, storm sewers must have a sufficient size and depth to drain all cellax bottoms of buildings to be built on abutting lots. All manholes, inlets, culverts, curb connections and other appurten- ances required by standard practice in constructing sewers and all material and workmanship thereto shall meet and conform to the City of North Olmsted sewer specifications. be amended to read as follows: (e) The allotter must install sanitary sewers of adequate size and depth, together with curb connections to serve all. lots in the subdivision, anal which size and location of said sanitary sewers rr~u.st be approved by the City E~igineer.
