LLOYD TO COMPLETE ENLINE~iING SERVICE <br />ON GESSNER ROAD SIDEWALK #1, GESSNER ROAD SIDEWALK ~L, LUCILLE DRIVE <br />SIDEWALK, DECKER ROAD STR~'T II'g'ROVEfi~~" #1, DECKER ROAD SEWER IMPROVE- <br />~~ ~ AND 1958 STREET RE-SURFACING PROGRAM, AND PROVIDING FQR <br />COMPENSATION THEREFOR, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />r <br /> <br />+' ~ , the employment of John R. Lloyd as City Engineer of the City of North <br />Olmsted terminated at the ~cpiration of his contract and the appointment of a successor, <br />and that there is now a new Engineer appointed for the City of North Olmsted, and <br />WI~E?.L'A,S, it has been determined by Council to be expedient to employ John R. <br />Lloyd to complete the improvements being made in the streets of the City of North Olmsted <br />which have been commenced and are not yet at the point of completion in accordance with <br />the ordinances and resolutions of this city, and <br />WH~i.EAS, for this purpose John R. Lloyd is to be employed to complete said <br />improvements and that the compensation for the completion of said improvements shall <br />be in accordance with the contract of employment between the City of North Olmsted and <br />John R. Lloyd which expired April 30, 1958, and <br />4JHEREAS, upon completion of those improvements to be continued under the <br />supervision of John R. C1oyd, the Auditor is directed to pay the Engineer, John R. C1oyd, <br />for his services in accordance with the aforementioned contract of employment, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, <br />State of Uhios <br />Section 1s That John R. Lloyd, former City Engineer of the City of idorth <br />Olmsted, be and he is hereby authorized to complete the following improvements initiated <br />under his contract of employment with the City of North Olmsted, which expired April <br />30, 1958, namely Lessner Road Sidewalk #l, Lessner Road Sidewalk #2, Lucille Drive <br />Sidewalk, Decker Road Street Improvement ~l, Decker Road Sewer Improvement ~ and the <br />street re-surfacing program contracted for by the City of North Olmsted for the year <br />1958, and in the event Fitch Road sidewalk improvement is not completed, the engineering <br />service on this particular fob. <br />Section 2s That the Auditor be and he is hereby authorized to pay John R. <br />Lloyd, Engineer, for the completion of the aforementioned improvements set forth in <br />Section 1 that compensation provided for such work as set forth in the contract of <br />employment between the City of North Olmsted and John R. Lloyd which expired April <br />30~ 1958• <br />Section 3s That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare of the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />Section 4s Wherefore, this Resolution shall take immediate effect from and <br />after its ~gssage, other se, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />~,."` <br />~~~ mss, i ~ s ~ <br />Passed: .J <br />ATTEST: <br />E.
