AND <br />DIGGF~. ATTACHMENTS, NOT TO E'XCEID THE TOTAL COST <br />FOR SAID TRACTOR AND ATTACHMENTS OF ~6~500.00, <br />AND DECLARING AN Il~RGENCY. <br />WHSE~~.,A.S~ the Service Director had reported to Council the necessi ty of <br />the City obtaining suitable equipment to be used in connection with road <br />ditches and other ditches where large equipment is impracticable and for <br />other purposes required by the Service Department and that such a piece of <br />equipment, to meet these purposes, comprise of a tractor T,~ri_th front-end <br />loader and power digging equipments and <br />W'ETEftEAS~ upon due consi.deration~ the Council has determined that the <br />Service Director should advertise for bids for the obtaining of such <br />equipment. <br />NC~J', THERE_~'OF.E, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL of the City of North <br />O1mstEd~ State of Ohio: <br />Section l: That the Service Director be and he is hereby directed to <br />advertise for bids for the purchase by the City of North Olmsted of a Tractor, <br />a Wagner Loader and Sherman Power Digger & Attachments or their equivalents for <br />a total cost not to exceed the sum of `~p6,500.00. <br />Section 2: WhPrefore~ this Resolution is determined to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the preservation of the public healthy safety and welfare <br />of the City of North Olmsted and such emergency exists by virtue of obtaining <br />suitable equipment to more efficiently maintain road ditches, other ditches <br />and to provide equipment for necessary loading and other digging necessary and <br />required by the Service Department of said City. <br />Section 3: Wherefore, this Resolution shall take immediate effect from <br />and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />Passed~~ c4' / J ~ <br />ATTEST <br />_____. <br />~~ ~. <br />~~x: E.
