CITY OF N(~TFi OLMSTED <br />ORDTNi1NCF, N0. ~a~ <br />Introduced by ~ ~ /~~~;~ <br />AN {RDINANCE PROVIDING CLOTHING ALLOWANCE FOR (S'FRATC~S <br />OF THE NORTH QLMSTED MUNICIPAL COACH LINE FOR THE YF,~R <br />1958 AND TH ~ ER, AND IE;CLARING AN EN.~tGENCY. <br />Wf1E~ElL.S, the Transportation Committee of Council has determined the <br />advisability that bus operators of the North Otlmsted Municipal Coach Liebe <br />be unifors~7;y dressed and have reported to Council their recomemendati©ns <br />that an allowance be made to such bus operators to permit the uniformity <br />of uniforms worn by.sueh operators, and <br />~F,,AS, the Transportation Committee further recommends the selection <br />of a suitable supplier of such uniforms be made by the Director of Public <br />Service and that all operator8 be required to make such purchases frnm the <br />same supplier as designated by the Director of Public Service, <br />NOW, THEREFf~?E, BE IT O~tDA7NED BY THE COUNCIL of the City of N©rth <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Service select a supplier of <br />uniforms to be worn by the operators of thQ North 07.msted Municipal Coach <br />Line and that each operator be authorised and directed to acquire the type <br />of uniforms directed to be worn by the Director of Public Service. <br />Section 2. That there be allowed to each operator the sum of X75.00 <br />for the acquisition of such uniform for the year ending May lst, 1959 and <br />that thereafter, that there be allort~®d such operator the snrn of ~50.fXi per <br />year for necessary uniforms or accessories. <br />Section 3, That upon the appointment of a new operator, he shall be <br />allowed the sum of X75.00 for unifor~as and accessories for the first year of <br />his employment and, X50.00 per year after the completion of the first year <br />of such employment, <br />Section !~. WHII~EFCIRE, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure r~cessary for the immed~.ate preservation of the public welfare of the City <br />of North O7~nsted which emsrg®ncy exists by the necessity of equiping the operator <br />of the North Olmsted M~anieipal Coach Line with like uniforms and accessories. <br />Section 5.
