<br />AND DECLARING AN EI~ENCY.
<br />BLS, it has been determined necessary to increase the salary of
<br />the rTayoris secretary.
<br />NOW, THEREFOR, BE IT UPDAI~°~ by the Council of the City of North
<br />Olmsted, County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio:
<br />Section 1. That Section 3 of Ordinance 2214, passed October 4,
<br />1955, entitled, "An Ordinance Determining Salaries, Wages and Bonds of
<br />Appointed Officials and Employees of the City of North 07.msted" as amended
<br />by Ordinance 2273 enacted March 6, 1956, Ordinance 2357 enacted August
<br />21, 1856, Ordinance 250q enacted July 15, 1957 and Ordinance 2534 enacted
<br />tiugust 20, 1857, v,hich reads as follows:.
<br />"Section 3. That beginning 5eptea~er 1, 1957, the salaries
<br />of appointed officials and employees are hereby fixed and
<br />determined to be as follows:
<br />Mayor's Secretary
<br />Building Conuni.ssioner
<br />Bt~i.lding Inspector
<br />Safety and Service
<br />Director
<br />Custodian of Public
<br />Buildings
<br />X3,697.20 Annually
<br />5,736.21+ Annually

<br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
<br />Section 3. That beginning flay 1st, 1958, the salaries of appointed
<br />officials and employees are herel~ fixed and determined to be as follows:

<br />Building Inspector
<br />Safety Director
<br />Custodian of Public
<br />Buildings

<br />Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be <an emergency
<br />measure necessary for the iz~inediate preservation of the public health,
<br />peace, safety and welfare, and such emergency exists by the immediate
<br />necessity of adequately compensating the Iayor's secretary, commensurate
<br />~:aith the duties and obligations of said office.
<br />Section 3. ':~I~FO~`~, this Ordinance shall take immediate effect from
