<br />W~.EAS, Fl~ryd G. Browne & Associates, entered into an agreement on
<br />December lot, 1956 ~~ the City of forth Olmsted, Ohio by and through its
<br />Director of Public Service to make the neeeasary investigations, studios,
<br />and to prepare a comprehensive engineering report, general plans and estimates
<br />of cast for a system of sanitary sealers, sewage treatment works and appurten-
<br />ances for the City, and
<br />WHEREA5~ said report has been submitted to the Council of the City of
<br />North Olmsted and to the State Department of Health, and has been approved
<br />by them as the general plan for which Sanitary Sewerage Improvements shall
<br />be designed, and
<br />~EREAS, it is desirable and necessary to confirm the provisions of
<br />Section 7 of afores<entioned agreement, and to authorize Floyd G. Browne &
<br />Associates, registered professional engineers, to design and prepare detailed
<br />plans, specifications, quantity and cost estimates for aforesaid sanitary
<br />sewerage improvements, and to furnish supervision of constraetian, consultation
<br />and advice to the officials of the City of North G3msted~ Ohio.
<br />NOHT, TFiEREFC~tE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North 01~sted,
<br />
<br />County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio:
<br />Section 1: That the Director of Public Service, City of North Ola:sted~
<br />be and he is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the City of North
<br />Olmsted Qhio, to authorize Floyd G. Browne & Associates, Registered Professional
<br />Engineers, to design and prepare detailed p7.ans~ specifications, quantity and
<br />cost estimates for:
<br />(a) Sanitary Sewers lift stations, and force maiats proposed for
<br />immediate eonstructioa as shown and calculated on Plate No. 8 and described i.n
<br />the Engineers Report dated September 4, 195?, having an estimated project cost
<br />of ~3,51a,0oo.
<br />(b) Activated sludge type sewage treatm~ant works having a normal
<br />treatment capacity of 3 vig D as described in Engineers Report, pages 16 to 21
<br />inclusive, to be located on site as described is legal description dated March
<br />1958,, and at the approximate location on Plate 7 having an estimated pro3eet cost
<br />of X1,000,000.
<br />And to confirm that in the event the City proEeeds with the
<br />construction of the work contemplated herein, to furnish general supervision of
<br />constraetimn, c©nsultation and advice during the conatreiction period and other
<br />engineering servioos incidental thereto.
<br />Section 2: That payment for the engineering services of detailed plans,
<br />specifications, quantity, cost of estimates and general su}~ervisien of construc-
<br />tion shall be in accordance with the ageeement dated December 1~, 1956, less the
<br />cost of the sanitary sewerage portion of the c rehenaive report and general
<br />plan in the amount of Fifteen Thousand Dollars 015,000.00) to be credited against
<br />the total engineering fee at the rate of X100.00 for sash ~1A~000.00 of actual
<br />construction.
