That John R, Cloyri be and he is hereby ea~plo ed as <br />y Engineer of the <br />z~~y o~~ ~+~rth Olmsted for a period beginning May 1, 1958 and emii~ag on the 30th day <br />"` of ~.pril, 1959, or until. his successor is qualified and appointed to do all work <br />which customarily devolves itself upon the ~gineer. <br />Sec_ tion 2, The employment and compensation of said engineer shall be as follows: <br />(a) For services rendered as Engineer and the furnishing of the necessary <br />engineering s plies for which contracts are let, the total cost of <br />which exceeds5~000, a sum equal to ?'~ of the total cost payablet~ <br />upon completion of plans, profiles and estimates and the remaining ~ as monthly <br />estimates are rendered and in proportion thereto. <br />(b) For other City engineering work of a general nature where drafting, <br />designingt estimating, or field work is necessary, the following rates <br />shall apply and be payable monthly, which includes drafting equipment; <br />field survey equipment and instruments; also transportation: <br />Helper, Rodman or Chairman .. . <br />Instrument Mari . • • • • w • • . <br />Party Chief or Office .~gineer <br />Registered Professional Engineer <br />or Principal on Special Work, <br />Conference, Court Work, etc. . <br />. ~I~.00 per hour <br />. . ... 5.00 per hour <br />... . .. 6.00 per hour <br />. . . . .., b.50 per hour <br />(c) For supervision of general engineering matters; attendance at Court House, <br />Cleveland City Hal`L, represented at Council and necessary Pl.araning Com- <br />mission meetings; advice to officials; general engineering office services <br />to the public and public utility corporations, telephoning and general <br />office correspondence; the sum of ~ D e~o o~y for the :r~onth of May and <br />each month thereafter, payable mont~ <br />Section 3. All finished plans, records, notes, etc,, made and compiled by said <br />Engineer in the prosecution of his duties in said office and pertaining to City work <br />shaL1 belong to and be the property of the City. <br />Section ~..
