" Ald ORDINANCE TO LL'VY SPECIAL ASSESSI~.IErTT5 TO PAY THE COSTS PRELIMIN_4RY TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF A I~iUNICIPAL SL'W`riRAGE SYSTEM FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLT~ISTED. L+IHERE,A.S, pursuant to Ordinance iVo. 2613 passed December 30, 1957, the cons lting engineers of the City prepared and filed with the Clerk of Council on ~~,.~~f ~ ~ , 195s, a list of tentative assessments designed to provide an estimated sum of X205,700 to pay costs preliminary to the construction of a municipal sewerage system for the City, notice of which filing and of hearing thereon has been duly published as required by Section 727.311 of the Revised Code of Ohio; and IrtHEREAS, on March 18, 195s, a hearing upon said assessments was held by this Council at which complaints and objections of all property owners appearing thereat were heard, considered and overruled; NOW, THERErORE, BE Ti' ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section l: That the detailed assessment prepared. as hereinbefore recited to provide the sum deemed necessary to pay the costs of general and d.~tailed plans, specifications, estimates of cost, preparation of tentative assessments and the cost of financing and legal services incidental to the preparation of said plans and of a plan of financing the proposed construction of a sewerage system for the City as des- cribed in Ordinance Rio. 2613 dete mining the necessity thereof, which detailed assess- ment amounts in the aggregate to X205,700 and is evidenced by the list of assessments filed as hereinbefore recited and thereafter .confirmed; and that there be and are hereby levied and assessed upon the lots and lands listed in said detailed assessment list and comprised of all lots and lands lying within the present corporate boundaries of the City of North Olmsted, the severer"1 amounts reported in said detailed assessmerxt, which assessments and the description of said lots and lands are now on file in the office of the Clerk of Council, are levied in accordance with tax valuation and are in proportion to the special benefits derived and are not in excess of any statutory limitation. Section 2: That the assessment against each such lot or parcel of land shall be payable in twenty annual installments with interest at the same rate as shall be borne by the bonds to be issued in anticipation of the collection of the same and shall be certified by the Clerk of Council to the County Auditor as provided by law to be placed by hi.m on the tr,.x duplicate a,nd collected as other taxes are collected. Section 3: 4Jherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and immediately after its passage. ~. >s,o.
