CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2 G L 3 <br />1~,,.. <br />By NTr. <br />of Ohio: <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE <br />FOR BIDS FOR FURNISHING LABOR AND PZATl~:RIAL FOR IMPROVEMEATT OF <br />G.F,SSNER ROAD FROM WALTER ROAD WESTE'RI,Y TO COLUMBIA ROAD BY <br />CONS~i'RUCTING AND INSTALLING A FIVE FOOT CONCRETE PUBLIC SIDE- <br />WALK ON BOTH SIDES THEREOF, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State <br />Section l: That the Director of Public Service be authorized to <br />advertise for bids for the construction and installation of a five foot concrete <br />public sidewalk on both sides of Gessner Road from Walter Road westerly to <br />Columbia Road. <br />Section 2: Wherefore, this Resolution is declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, safety and <br />welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue of t:he <br />necessity of immediately advertising for bids for the furnishing of labor and <br />material for installing a five foot public sidewalk on both sides of Gessner Road <br />from Walter Road westerly to Columbia Road, in order to take advantage of weather <br />conditions and prices. <br />Section 3: Wherefore, this Resolution shall take immediate effect from <br />and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />Passed: ,~ e?
