CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. ~f~,2 <br />By Mr . //1-l~ ~~1~ <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVr~f:TISE <br />FOR BIDS FOR FURNISHING LABOR AND MAT~IAL FOR Il'~II'ROVEMEN~T OF <br />GESSNER ROAD FROM LORAIN ROAD TO WALTER ROAD BY CONSTRUCTING <br />AND INSTALLING A FIVE FOOT CONCRETE SIDEWALK ON BOTH SIDES <br />THEREOF, AND DECLARING AN EN~RGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State <br />of Ohio: <br />Section l: That the Director of Public Service be authorized to <br />advertise for bids for the construction and installation of a five foot concrete <br />public sidewalk on both sides of Lessner Road from Lorain Road to Walter Road. <br />Section 2: Wherefore, this Resolution is declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, safety and <br />welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue of the <br />necessity of immediately advertising for bids for the furnishing of labor and <br />material for installing a five foot public sidewalk on both sides of Lessner Road <br />from Lorain Road to Walter Road, in order to take advantage of weather conditions <br />and prices. <br />Section 3: Wherefore, this .Resolution shall take immediate effect from <br />and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest peri od allowed by law. <br />Passeds /~~'2LGrt~~, ~ J ~, / IJ~~ <br />ATTEST: , <br />CL~K 0 COUNCIL <br />APPROV ' <br />r <br />MAYO ' <br />-~ <br />_ r <br />RESIDENT COUNCI~- <br />
