WTiEREASa Council has determined it necessary to clarify the language of Section 1 of Ordinance 2516 relative to vacation periods for officers and regular members of the Fire Department. NOW, THEREFOREa BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsteda State of Ohio: Section 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance 2516, enacted on the 16th day of July, 1957, entitled, "An Ordinance to Determine VaQation Periods for Officers and Regular Members of the Fire Department" reading a,s follows: 'That from and after the effective date of this ordinanc® the officers and regular members of the Fire Department of the City of North Olmsteda Ohioa shall be given the following paid vacations: Those with over one years continuous service shall receive two weeks paid vacation for each year of servic®. Those with fifteen years sontinuous service, or its equivalent, shall receive three weeks paid vacation each year, The time of said vacations shall b® determined by the Chief of the Fire Department." be amended to read as follows: That from and after the effective date of this ordinance the officers and regular members of the Fire Department of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, shall be entitled to paid vacations under the conditions herein- after set forth: Officers and regular members of the Fire Department of the City of North Olsnsteda (~ioa upon completion of one year ~ a continuous service shall be entitled to two weeks paid vacation each year thereafter until completing the fifteenth year of continuous service in said Fire Department. Officers and regular members of the Fire Department having completed fifteen years or more continuous service in said Department, or its equivalent, sha11 receive three weeks paid vacation each year. thereafter.
