~°' y~,~ <br />~./~ / ' ~~~~ CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~ br ~ ~o <br />AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE OFFICE OF SERVICE DIRECTOR AND <br />REPEALING THE ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR fiHE CREATION OF THE <br />OFFICE OF SERVICE SAFETY DIRECTOR, KNOWN AS ORDINANCE 93b, <br />ENACTED ON THE 15th DAY OF JANUARY 1952, PROVIDING COM~'ENSA- <br />TION FOR SAID OFFICE, AND, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, heretofore the City of North Olmsted has had the Offices of Service - <br />Safety Director handled by one individual, and it is desirous that separate <br />Departments of Service and Safety in said City, be handled by different <br />individuals. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, <br />State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That there shall be created the Office of Service Director for <br />the City of North Olmsted, to be headed by a single individual as provided <br />by law. <br />Section 2: That the Office of Service Director shall be paid an annual <br />salary of Three Thousand Dol]ars (3,000.00) Per year' payable semianonthly <br />on the 1st and the 15th of each calendar month of each year. <br />Section 3s That Ordinance No. 936, enacted on the 15th day of January 1952, <br />is hereby repealed, and all other Ordinances and Resolutions in conflict with <br />sections 1 and 2 of this Ordinance, are hereby repealed. <br />Section !~: This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, peace, safety <br />and general we7..fare of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio and such emergency <br />exists by virtue of the immediate necessity of creating a separate Departm®nt <br />of Service and the appointment of a head to said department, all for the <br />preservation of the public peace, health, safety and general welfare of the <br />City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 5: WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take immediate effect from and <br />after its passage, othe e, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED : - ~Y~- / 6 , ! ~I J ~~ <br />,< <br />ATTESTED ~ ~ "`; . <br />~.
