BY: Mr. <br />ORDINANCE N0. .~6 l <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING <br />THE CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS <br />ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 233_4_11 ON <br />BARYON ROAD, NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO. <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the <br />Auditor of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga <br />County, for the improvement of Barton Road, in the City of North <br />Olmsted, Ohio, by constructing therein a water main (No. 3), and <br />WHEREAS, Ardiss and W. E. Devine, have paid said assessments, <br />together with interest thereon, on Permanent Parcel No. 233-4-11 on the <br />Auditors records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, in the City of North Olmsted, <br />Ohio.. (Security Sav. & Loan Co., Elyria, Ohio) <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE I T ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, STATE OF OHIO: <br />That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and is hereby auth- <br />orized and directed to cancel all future assessments, beginning with <br />the assessments for the year 195$ and continuing through 1964, certified <br />and levied on Permanent Parcel No. 233-4_11 on Barton Road, North Olmsted, <br />Ohio, and which assessments were certified and levied for the improvement <br />of Barton Road, by constructing therein a water main (No. 3). <br />That the annual assessments for said improvement including <br />interest at the rate of 3-1f2~ on said premises amounted to the sum <br />of X1,103.60. <br />That the Treasurer of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, is <br />hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in full, with interest <br />on such assessments beginning with the year 195$ and continuing through <br />1964. <br />That the Clerk is ordered to certify a copy of this Ordinance <br />to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. <br />This is an emergency measure necessary for the public health, <br />peace and safety and to provide immediately for the cancellation of <br />special assessments which have been paid in full. <br />PASSED: December ~, 1957. <br />ATTEST• <br />s" _ _.~~ <br />.
