'Z S ~~ <br />BY : Mr. ~' -~,,~~,,~~~yr Ali ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE <br />OF PHOTOGRAPHS TAKEN BY THE POLIGE <br />DEPARTMENT, SETTING THE CHARGE TO <br />BE MADE THEREFOR AND THE DISPOSITION <br />TO BE N~ADE OF THE PROCEEDS RECEIVED <br />THEREFROM. <br /><.~.. <br />WHEREAS., the City has heretofore authorized the Police Department <br />to purchase cameras and other photographic equipment necessary in the <br />operation of said department, and <br />WHEREAS., requests are received for copies of photographs in - <br />connection with traffic accidents and other matters by insurance companies, <br />attorneys and others, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council deems it necessary to set a reasonable <br />charge to be made for such photographs arri determine the fund to which <br />the proceeds of such services shall be deposited. <br />NOW, TIEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOUNCTL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLIUISTED, STATE OF ONTO: <br />Section 1. That the Police Department be and it is hereby <br />authorized to use its photographic equipment at proper times to make <br />copies of official police photographic scenes, pictures or material, - <br />for the use of insurance companies, attorneys or of her proper persons, <br />and shall charge the sum of Five Dollars (5.~) per print for such <br />photographs or material, the proceeds from the sale of which are to be <br />credited to the General Fund of the City. <br />Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessarr y ~ or the immediate preservation of the public peace, <br />health and safety of the City and further necessary for the daily operation <br />of a municipal department. <br />PASSED: November l~ , 1957. <br />ATTEST: <br />E.
