<br />ORDINANCE NO. 2355, PASSED AUGUST-21, 1956.
<br />- WHEREAS, this City has a contract with the City of Fairview Park,
<br />Ohio, which expires December 31,'1961, for the furnishing of bus service '
<br />within the City of Fairview Park, Ohio and to and from the City of Cleveland,

<br />WHEREAS, said contract provides that the. Municipal Bus Line of the
<br />~~ City~of North Olmsted, Ohio shall furnish a minimum nu'nber of daily bus
<br />runs , a rrl
<br />WHEREAS., said contract provides that either party has the right
<br />to negotiate any change in the number of daily bus runs, and
<br />WHEREAS., th® City of North Olmsted, Ohio has requested a reduc-
<br />tion in the number of daily bus runs as hereinafter set forth and this
<br />Council has had negotiations with the Council of the City of Fairview Park,
<br />Ohio, and an agreement as to the reduction in the number of daily bus runs
<br />has been reached by both parties«
<br />Nt~h1, THEREFfJRE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />NORTH OLl~ISTED, STATE OF OHIO:
<br />S.ec___ t?OA 1 That the contract heretofore entered into with the
<br />City of Fairview ark, t~[i.o, as authorized by Ordinance No. 2355, passed
<br />August 21, 1956, be amended and modified as of November 1, 195?, so as to
<br />provide for not less than the following number of daily one-way bus trips
<br />on the routes arui daps indicated:
<br />MONDAY T~iRU FRIDAY
<br />Butternut Ridge Road Division - not less than 2$ one-wag trips
<br />daily.
<br />ON SATURDAY ONLY
<br />Lorain Road Division - not less than 3? one-way trips.
<br />Butternut Ridge Rgad Division - not less than lO one-way trips..
<br />Westwood Division - net less than 10 one-way trips.
<br />ON SUNDAY ONLY
<br />Lorain Road Division - not less than 32 one-way trips.
<br />Section 2.. That the Safety-Service Director be and he is hereby
<br />authorized and directed to execute a contract'on behalf of the City of North
<br />Olmsted, Ohio, with the City of Fairview Park, Ohio, providing for the daily
<br />number of bus trips as provided in Section 1 above.
<br />Section 3. That Ordinance No. 2355, passed August 21, 1956, be
<br />and the same is amended and mori~ied as provided herein.
<br />Section 1~. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an '
<br />emergency measure necessary for the irmnediate preservation of public health,
<br />welfare and safety, and for the further reason that it makes possible the
<br />continued'necessary bus transportation of the people of the City of Fair-
<br />view Park, .Ohio, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-
<br />~hi ds ©f all the members elected to Council, it shall take~y©Tect and be
