RESOLUTION AUTIORIZING AND DIRECTING THE <br />DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ENTER INTO <br />A CONTACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF TIRES FOR <br />USE ON THE M©BI~ EQUIPA~E4~'P d~1ED .AND <br />OPERATED BY THE CITY OF RORTH OL~ISTED, <br />Whereas, the Director of Public Service of the City of <br />North Olmsted has duly advertised for proposals for furnishing tires <br />for use on the mobile equipment owned and operated by the City of <br />North Olmsted, and <br />Whereas, the Penrose Tire Company has submitted the lowest <br />and best proposal for furnishing such tires for the purpose above <br />mentioned. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, STATE OF OHIO, THAT: <br />The proposal of the Penrose Tire Company to furnish tires <br />for said mobile equipment of the City, for a Qreriod of one year <br />beginning upon the passage of this resolution, be accepted. <br />The Director of Public Service is hereby authorised and <br />directed to enter into a contract with the Penrose Tire Company, for <br />the purchase of said tires in accordance with the advertisement for <br />proposals, the proposal and. the specifications on file, all of which <br />shall be made a part of the contract as if fully rewritten therein. <br />This is an emergency measure necessary for the public health, <br />peace and safety and to immediately provide for the purchase of neces- <br />sary material for city equipment. <br />PASSED: September 17, 1957• <br />ATTEST: <br />9 ~ <br />~. ristman, e - ci <br />APPROVED: <br />r es ewis, yor <br />F <br />o rt Dec er, esident <br />Pro Tem of Council. <br /> <br />
