<br />t f City Engineer did prepare tine necessary detailed plans and specifications
<br />ark~~ ~,i for the construction of a sanitary seTder line on Park Lane, and
<br />T~'RrAS, it is now determined by Council to require the prepara-
<br />tion of detailed plans and speci.ficatior_s for the construction of a sanitary
<br />se~,rer line. on '~velyn ana Eleanor !~r~ ,.Te to Gessner ILoad, and
<br />^~T'~.~:~FAS, Floyd tjro~rne and Assoc~.ates have heretofore prepared plans
<br />f'or Gessner road, but due to t;ie alteration of flow will oe rea>>ired to chanFPe
<br />tine grade only of t;~ie sower on C-essner ~~oad to permit its flow to i.~Ialter T?oad
<br />rather than as origihally planned to h~ ve the flow i'ro.~. Gessner and ':'Japer ~.oads
<br />in a ,Jesterly direction to uolumbia load, and by virtue thereof' it would oe more
<br />economical in the opinion of Council to have Floyd Browne and Associates prer~are
<br />the plans _~or i+aeanor and '~1~.relyn ,Jr..ve, lying; Southerly o_E' Gessner Load,

<br />Section l: Tnat Section 1 and Section 2 of Ordinance 3188, enacted
<br />December 6, 1960, I;e amended to read as follows:
<br />"Section l: T!~at the City Engineer: is hereby instructed to
<br />prepare plans ana specifications f'or the construction of a sanitarv
<br />sewer line in Park Lane. `
<br />"Section 2: T!~at t~z-~_s `%~solution is i~ereby declared to be an
<br />emergency measure necessart•~ for the preservation of the public
<br />health, safaty and we! Fare o f tree City and such emer~;enc,y exists
<br />by virtue of the necessity of rreparin~ x~lans and specifications
<br />f.'or the construction of a san~_tary sewer line in Parlc Lane, for
<br />inclusion in pror•osed Contract ~."
<br />Section 2: 'rlherefore, this resolution shall take ia^unediate effect
<br />from and after its passane, otherwise, at tie earliest period allowed by law.
