T~iAKE ;~ LtTA'tf' SUP2 PAYI~P,'T OF FIFTEEN HUTIDRED <br />DOLLARS 01,500.00) TC MARY HUDEC, IN FLZL SETTLE- <br />MENT OF PrRSOAIAL INJI7RY CLAIM, AND DECLARING AN <br />~14~RGFNCY. <br />WHEREAS, heretofore, Mary Hudec has instituted an action in the Common <br />Pleas Court of Cuyahoga County as Case number 717130 against the City of North <br />Olmsted for injuries sustained in a fall on the sidewalk in front of or near 3!.;90 <br />Clague ~{oad, ~iorth Olmsted, and <br />;a~REAS, at the pre-trial of said action Counsel for Claimant presented. <br />statements representing the necessary medical, surgical, and hospital care re- <br />quired by sirs. Hudec by virtue of tna injuries sustained in said fall, and <br />~r1~~REAS, investigation disclosed the sidewalk at the above referred to <br />address to be very defective and further that resulting from the injury sustained <br />i~irs. Hudec lost approximately one year's employment it seemed under the circum- <br />stances and the law desireabe to make an advantageous settlement of said claim <br />for an amount agreed upon by the Claimant, her attorney, and the Solicitor ren- <br />resemting the City for the sum of Fifteen ~:undred Dollars 01,500.00), <br />I~TOGJ, 1H'?~?FFOR~', ~~` -~1' uA~~~Arjl~~D by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l: Council, upon a review of the circumstances involving the <br />claim made by Mrs. Hudec, as set forth in Common Pleas Court of Cuyahoga County <br />Case Number 717130, determines the proposed settlement of X1,500.00 to be fair <br />and advantageous to the City and thereb~,r directs the Director of Finance to pay <br />to I~7ary ~Iudec and Thomas C.
