Ens-1-29 <br />ON ~kiITETHORN AVENUE, BEING AN ASSESSMENT F~ THE PREPARA- <br />TION OF DETAILED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR A SEWERAGE <br />SYSTEM FC3R THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND DECLARII~ AN <br />EINERGENCY, <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of <br />the City of North Oltasted, Ohio to the Auditor cif Cuyahoga County for tha <br />separation of detailed plans and specifications for a sewerage system in <br />the City of North Olmsted, Ohio and <br />WHEREAS, Richard and Frances M. Rothgery, have paid the sum of ~7lt.lb <br />in payment of said special assessments, in advance, for the tax years 1962 through <br />1979 inclusive, together with accrued interest levied thereon against Permanent <br />Parcel No. 235-1-29, Whitethorn Avenue, in the City of North Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, <br />State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to cancel for the years 1962 through 1972 inclusive, <br />assessments for the preparation of detailed plans and specifications for a <br />sewerage sytem which have been levied for the impmovement of Whitethorn Avenue <br />in the City of North Olmsted by the installat3.on of a sewerage system. <br />Section 2: That the treasurer of the City of North Olmsted is hereby <br />authorizied and directed to receive payment in advance on such assessments for <br />the period 1962 through 1979 inclusive, amounting to ~71~.1b on said parcel and <br />further known as house number 5130 Whitethorn Avenue. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk i~ hereby directed to f onward an attested <br />copy of this Ordinance to the A~iditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. <br />Section !~: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health. <br />arxt welfare of t he City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue <br />of the necessity of making arrangements for the immediate cancellation of said <br />special assessments on Permanent Parcel No. 235-1-29, levied for ~e preparation <br />of detailed plans and specifications for a sewerage sytem in said city, together <br />with interest thereon far the years 1962 through 1979 inclusive, have been paid ir, <br />full. <br />Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take immediate effect from <br />and after tis passage, otherewise, at theearliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED : -- ~.~ / ~ /~ <br />A'FTES~ryy <br />.~ <br />~' wise Halls Clerk of Council Bruce MacDonald, President of Council <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />Me`V'oZ' <br />,~ <br />r <br />
