<br />Section 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance 3100 enacted September 6, 1960,
<br />being an ordinance amending Section 1 of Ordinance 303l~, enacted Jung; 7, 1860,
<br />being an ordinance amending Section 1 of Ordinance 275 enacted December 16,
<br />1958, amending Section ~t of Ordinance 253l~ enacted August 20, 19S?, amending
<br />Section ~ of Ordinance 221.x. enacted October ~., 1955, entitled t'An trdinance
<br />Determining Salaries, Wages and Bonds of Appointed Officials and ~nployees of
<br />the City of North Olmsted, as amended by th^dinance 2359, enacted August 21,
<br />1956, be amended to read as follows;
<br />"Section ~.s That beginning Tay 16, 1961, the salaries and wages of
<br />the er~ployses of the Service Department are hereby fixed and determined
<br />to be as follows:
<br />Street Commissioner
<br />Foreman of Service Department
<br />Class A Labor (regular full time employee)
<br />Class B Labor (6 month probationary period)
<br />Class C Labor (additional help employed during
<br />summer for ditch work, grasscutting, etc.)
<br />Class D Labor (car washers, equipment cleaners
<br />~~,540.00 Annually
<br />2. i0 to 2.30 per hour
<br />2.OCT to 2.20 per hour
<br />1.90 per hour
<br />•1.80 per hour

<br />Employees of the Service Department shall not b® required to work on
<br />the following holidays: New Years Dap, Memorial Day, Independence y~
<br />Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, However, said employees
<br />shall be paid for an eight hour day at the regular rate for each of said
<br />holidays.
<br />Section 2: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency.
<br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public welfare of the City
<br />of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue of the necessity of adjusting
<br />the over all payroll increases applicable to all appointed officials of the city.
<br />Section ~;; Wherefore, this ordinance shall take immediate effect from and
<br />after its passage, othertaise, at the earliest period allowed by law.
