<br />CITY OF NORTH OLP~IST'D <br />ORDINANCE N0. 61 - /a ~ <br />~_~ <br />!v r~. `-' J ~' C~ <br />AN ORDINANCE AtiTi'NDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANC 3162, ENACTED <br />NOVEMBER 15, 1960, ANIENDIPiG SECTION 1 OF 0?tDINANCE 2965, <br />ENACTED JANUARY 5, 1960, ENTITLED, "ORDINANCE FIXING COMA <br />PFNSATION OF CL'~K OF COUNCIL", AND DECT~ARING AN 'i~1ERGENCY <br />NOWT, TFI";F~EFi~RF, BF IT ORDAINED, by the Council of the City of Nortrh <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l: That Section 1 of Ordinance 3162, enacted November 15, 1960, <br />amending Section 1 of Ordinance 2965, enacted January 5, 1960, entitled, "Ordinance <br />Fixing Compensation of Clerk of Council and Declaring an Emergency" be amended to <br />read as follows: <br />"Section 1: Effective eJlay 16, 1961, the Auditor be and is hereby directed <br />and authorized to pay to the Clerk of Council the sum of 2U5.OO per month and each <br />month thereafter for the services performed by said Clerk of Council which shall be <br />those services required to be performed by the Clerk of Council under the charter of <br />the City and for those services as from time to time are determ~d to be necessary <br />to be performed by the Clerk of Council and which at this time include ss heretofore <br />determined by Council, the necessity of preparing a list of rimes and addresses of <br />all property owners to be assessed for a portion of the sanitary ®swerage systems <br />now in the process of construction, and the names and addresses of e~h owners of <br />lands as are necessary for the service of all notices required by law to be made <br />in perfecting assessments for improvements authorized by Council. <br />Section 2: This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />and such emergency exists by virtue of the necessit~.j of making uniform wage increase <br />to the employees of the City., a policy determined by Council necessary and effective <br />T~?ay lb, 1961, and which Council determines to be necessary for the preservation <br />of the public peace, health, safety, and general welfare of the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />Section 3; Therefore, this ordinance shall take immediate effect from <br />and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed bz~ law. <br />PASSED :_ _~~ J~ _ /. <br />ATTEST: <br />ou se , er o Dune <br />Bruce ae one , res en o ounce <br />A~'P~VED : .~ <br />.~ , <br />u Gare'au, yor <br />i <br /> <br />M aY <br />7 1961 <br /> <br />
