CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE No. 62 --/~ <br />C.-s~--e.-~t--~-- <br />By <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 of ORDINANCE No. 62-128 <br />RELATING TO SALARIES AND WAGES OF OFFICIALS ANA EMPLOYFBS <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND DECLARING AN BMBRGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the city of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That Section 3 of Ordinance 62-128 as en- <br />acted July 10, 1962, reading as follows: <br />"That beginning Jwly 15, 1962, the salaries of <br />appointed officials and employees are hereby fixed and <br />determined to be as follows <br />Mayor's Secretary <br />Clerical & Secretarial <br />Building Commissioner <br />Building Inspector <br />Ss,fetq Director <br />Custodian of Public Buildings <br />Service Director <br />$ 4,642.34 Annually <br />250.00 to 3?5.00 per <br />7,000.00 annually <br />5,500.00 Annually <br />2,100.00 Annually <br />4,766.5.0 Annually <br />7,500.00 Annually" <br />month <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"That beginning December 1, 1962, the salaries of <br />appointed officials and employes are hereby fixed end <br />determined to be as follows: <br />Mayor's Secretary <br />Clerical & Secretarial <br />Building Commissioner <br />Building Inspector <br />Saf ety Director <br />Custodian of Public Buildings <br />Service Director <br />$ 4,642.34 Annually <br />250.00 to 375.00 per month <br />7,000.00 Annually <br />5,500.04 Annually <br />2,100.00 Annually <br />5,000.00 Annually <br />?,500.00 Annually" <br />Section 2: That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 62-128 <br />enacted July 10, 1962, is hereby repealed as of December 1, 1962, <br />concurrently with the effective date of the changes herein made. <br />Section 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public <br />,peace, health, safety and welfare of the City by virtue of the <br />fact of the immediate necessity of adjusting compensation for city <br />employees so as to make the same commensurate with the requirements <br />of the various jobs; WF~REFORE, this Ordinance shall £ake effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the <br />earliest eriod allowed by law. <br />PASSE -~ <br />ATTES .
