CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION N0. 62-104 By Mr. Christman A RESOLUTI ON GRANTING A SIXTY DAY EXTENSION OF THE COMPLETION DATE OF A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CI TY OF NORTH OLMSTED AND DANDREA ~ NAI~ NI , INC. FOR WORK INSTALLI NG SEWERS - FURTHER DESK GNAT ED AS CONTRACT N0. 6, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, there presently exists a contract between the City of North Olmsted and Dandrea & Nardini, Inc., designated as Contract No. 6 providing for certain work in connection with the installation of sanitary sewers and providing for a completion date which by Resolution No. 62-14 was heretofore extended to June 7, 1962; and WHEREAS, The Service Director and the Consulting Engineers have both recommended that the completion date of said contract be extended by a further period of sixty days. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section 1: That an extension of sixty days from the present completion date of June 7, 1962 of a contract between the City of North Olmsted and Dandrea ~ Nardini, Inc. for the installation of sanitary sewers designated as Contract No. 6, be and the same is hereby granted. Section 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the City of North Olmsted and further by virtue of the fact that delay in the passage of this Resolution would give rise to legal ,questions regarding the ri ghts of the parties under said contract; WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law.
