<br />TO PROCEED WITH DEMOLITION OR RE~~IJVAL OF THE
<br />DWELLING ON PER~~IANENT PARCEL No. 232-27-57, 4589
<br />SELHURST AVENUE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance
<br />1331.01 - 1331.06 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North
<br />Olmsted, the Building Commission has determined that a~. abandoned
<br />dwelling at 4589 Selhurst Avenue, North Olmsted, Ohio, also known
<br />as Permanent Parcel No. 232-27-57, the record title holder of which
<br />is Louise Toth, 7308 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, is unsafe,
<br />dangerous to human life and a hazard to the safety, health and
<br />public welfare of the City of North Olmsted; and
<br />WHEREAS, notice to repair, remove and demolish
<br />said building was served by certified mail on said record title
<br />holder on April 2b, 1962, ordering her to repair, remove or de-
<br />molish said dwelling and to commence such repair, removal or
<br />demolition within forty-eight hours of receipt of said notice;
<br />and
<br />WHEREAS, said owner has failed within said time
<br />limit and up to the present date to comply therewith.
<br />NOV6', THEREFORE, BE I'1' RESOLVED by the Council of
<br />the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio.
<br />Section 1: That Council deems it necessary to proceed
<br />with the demolition or removal of the dwelling at 4589 Selhurst
<br />Avenue, North Olmsted, Ohio - Permanent Parcei No. 232-27-57,
<br />owned by Louise Toth, 7308 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, by
<br />reason of the fact that said dwelling has been determined to be
<br />dangerous to human life and a hazard to the public safety, health
<br />and welfare, and that the cost of said demolition or removal be
<br />paid from the general fund of the City of North Olmsted and charged
<br />to the owner as a special assessment or lien on said parcel of
<br />land, and assessed and collected in the manner of other assessments
<br />as provided by law.
<br />Section 2: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed
<br />to forward to Louise Toth, 7308 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, a
<br />copy of this Resolution.
<br />Section 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be
<br />an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public
<br />peace, safety and welfare by virtue of the unsafe and dangerous
<br />condition of the aforesaid dwelling and its immediate threat to
<br />the health, safety and welfare of this City.
<br />Section 4; WHEREFORE,
