CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION No. 62 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO NEGOTIATE EASEMENTS NECESSARY TO <br />THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE ALEXANDER ROAD STORM <br />SEWER, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted contem- <br />plates the installation of a storm sewer known as the Alexander <br />Road Storm Sewer which will require obtaining easements from <br />several of the property owners on Alexander Road and desires <br />to authorize the Director of Public Service to negotiate for <br />such easements as will be required under the plans heretofore <br />developed by the City Engineer and now on file in the office of <br />the Director of Public Service. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the Council <br />of the City of North. Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That the Director of Public Service be and <br />he is hereby authorized to negotiate for easements necessary to <br />the construction of the Alexander Road Storm Sewer as indicated <br />by the plans for said storm sewers now on file in the office of <br />the Director of Public Service and to report back to Council <br />for its approval of such easements. <br />Section 2: This resolution is hereby determined to be <br />an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public <br />health, safety and welfare, and such emergency exists by virtue <br />of the fact that the construction of the above storm sewer is <br />necessary in order to relieve flooding conditions and to eliminate <br />a dangerous ditch as soon as possible. <br />Section 3: WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect <br />immediately from and after passage, otherwise, at the earliest <br />period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: ~~ /~,~,,,~.. <br />~r Q~ <br />Bruce Mac onald, res dent <br />of Council <br />ATTEST <br />Louise Hall, Clerk o Council <br />APPROVED: <br />Paul J. reau, Mayor <br /> <br />.., ., _ r~ _..,, .», .~ , .. . <br />
