CITY OF NORTH OIMTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. <br />BY <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REPORT OF THE ASSESSMENT <br />EQUALIZATION BOARD ON OBJECTIONS CONCERNING THE <br />ESTIMATED ASSESSMENTS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF CERTAIN <br />STREETS AND tUBLIC EASEMENTS BY CONSTRUCTING SAN.CTARY <br />SEWERS, SEWER CURB CONNECTIONS AND NECESSARY APPUR- <br />TENANCES, INCLUDING NECESSARY STREET RESURFACING AND <br />RESTORATION OF DRAINAGE FACILITIES (CONTRACT N0. 15-- <br />ZONE 2), AND DECLARING AN IIMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Assessment Equalization Board heretofore appointed by Resolution <br />No. 69-215 of this Gouncil adopted December 16, 1969, to hear and determine all <br />' objections concerning the estima.ted assessments for the improvement of Columbia <br />Road and other streets and easements between the termini set forth in Resolution <br />No. 69-177, adopted October 21, 1969, (Sewer Contract No. 15) by constructing <br />sanitary sewers, sewer curb connections and necessary appurtenances, including <br />necessary street resurfacing and restoration of drainage facilities, has filed <br />its report with this Council as ?o its determination of such objections; and <br />WHERF.AS, Council deems such report proper in all respects; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio: <br />Section l. The report of the Assessment Equalization Board hereinbefore <br />recited be and the same is hereby approved and the assessments as: equalized by <br />said Board and reported by it be and they are hereby directed to be filed in <br />the office of the Clerk of Council. <br />Section 2. That the amount by which the original es-timated assessments were <br />reduced by the Assessment Equalization Board shall be assumed by the City in addi- <br />tion to the portion of the cost of the improvement which the City is required to <br />bear under Resolution No. 69-177, said reductions being as follows; <br />PARCEL OWNER ORIGINAL EQUALIZED REDUCTION <br />N0,_ ASSMNT. This resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety <br />of said City, and for the further reason that the immediate construction of said <br />improvement is necessary to protect the health of the abutting owners and the <br />inhabitants of the City; wnerefore, this resolution shall be in full force and <br />effect from and immediately after its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: -1Q <br />ATTEST : d!
