? <br />? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 66- 3 qO PAGE 2 <br />Section 3: That the Superintendent, Maintenance Mechanic, <br />Operators, Foreman-Sewer Maintenance, shall be licensed by the State <br />of Ohio as Sewage Treatment System Operators or any licenses neces- <br />sary under the laws of the State of Ohio or its Subdivisions. <br />Section 4: That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 65-270 presently <br />reading as follows: <br />"Section 3: That effective December 1, 1965, the remuneration <br />of the aforesaid Sewage Treatment Plant personnel shall be as follows: <br />1?1 <br />Plant Superintendent $8,000 - $9,000 per annum <br />Chief Operator and Lab <br />Technician $7,000 - $7,500 per annum <br />Electrical Maintenance Man $69800 -$7,500 per annum <br />` Filter Operator $6,300 - $7,000 per annum <br />Four (4) Operators $5,500 - $6,300 per annum <br />Two (2) Assistant Operators $2.50 -$2.75 per hour <br />Laborers $2.25 - $2.75 per hour <br />be arid the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 4: That effective January 1, 1967, the remunera- <br />tion of the aforesaid Sewer Treatment System personnel shall be as <br />follows: <br />Superintendent $8,000 - $11,000 per annum <br />Plant Maintenance Mechanic $6,800 -$7,800 per annum <br />Plant Operators $2.50 - $3.25 per hour <br />Foreman-Sewer Maintenance ,,$2.75 - $3.25 per hour <br />Laborers $2.25 - $2.75 per hour <br />Section 5: For each full time member of the Sewage Treat- <br />ment System the City of North Olmsted shall pay an amount equal to <br />a single person's rate per month towards the cost of Blue Cross <br />Hospitalization and Medical Mutual premiums of said members of the <br />Sewage Treatment System, as established by Contract 52YS effective <br />the 22nd day of May, 1965. <br />Section 6: That Ordinance No. 65-270 and any ordinance and <br />parts of ordinances or amendments inconsistent herewith with the <br />provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed with the effective <br />date of this ordinance. <br />Section 7: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />public peace, health, safety and welfare of the City by virtue of <br />the fact that such emergency exists due to the necessity of adequately <br />compensating employees of a regular department of the City which is <br />essential to the health of the inhabitants of the City of North Olmsted. <br />WHEREFORE, this ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage, otherwise at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED:__..LjIXL?Yl??v oZC7 <br />?EST: ' <br />V'J ? t rY: ,.
