A lamp amittin9 a rad <br />liqht visible from a distance of 300 feet to the rear may be uaed <br />in addition to the red reflector. Every bicycle operated upon <br />any strest during the time from one-half hour after sunset to one- <br />half hour beforo sunrise and at any ather time when there is rwt <br />sufficient natural liqht to render discernible persons, vehicles <br />and substantial obiects on the highway at a diatance of 500 feet <br />ahead shall display lights as described above. <br />(b) No personal shall operate a bicycle unless it is equipped with <br />a bell or other werning devicx capable of givinq a siqnal audible <br />for a distrance of at least 100 feet exoept that a bicycle shall nat <br />be equipped with nor shall any person use on a bicycle any sirsipr <br />whistle.
