w,oo'" <br />,vow CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />a <br />ORDINANCE NO. 64-?_?? y? <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />BY A:9'-? <br />AN ORTJINANCE AMENI7ING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL MAP <br />AND TRAFFIC CONTROL FILE BY DESIGNATING THAT PARKING <br />ON LORAIN ROAD FOR A PERIOD IN EXCESS OF ONE HOUR <br />BE PROHIBITED, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it has been recommended to Council by the <br />Safety Committee that parking in excess of one (1) hour should be prohibited <br />on Lorain Road from the city limits on the east to the city limits on the west, and <br />WHEREAS, Council has been advised that parkinq in excess <br />of one (1) hour creates traffic congestion which is a hazard to motorists using <br />Lorain Road, and <br />WHEREAS, Council is concerned with the safety of motorists <br />and pedestrians using Lorain Road has determined that to eliminate the <br />hazard which exists parking in excess of one (1) hour on Lorain Road shall <br />be prohibited. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED By the Council of <br />the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohlo: <br />- Section 1: ?hat the ?raffic 0ontrol Map (Codified <br />Ordinance No. 305.01) be amended by designating that parking in excess <br />of one (1) hour is prohibited on Lorain Road from the easterly city limits <br />to the westerly city limits except those portions of Lorain Road where <br />parking is prohibited at all times and except between the hours of 2 a. m. <br />and 6 a. m. when parking is prohibited at all times as set forth by Ordinance <br />No. 64-61. <br />Section 2: That the Traffic Control_ File (Codified <br />Ordinance No. • 305.02) be amended to record the prohibition of parking <br />on Lorain Road from the easterly city limits to the westerly city limits <br />for any period in excess of one (1) hour except for those areas where <br />parking is prohibited at all times and except between the hours of 2 a. m. <br />and 6 a.m. when parking is prohibited at all times as set forth by <br />Ordinance I`b. 64-61. <br />Section 3: That a certified copy of this Ordinance be <br />delivered to the Police Department of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 4: That this Ordinance is hereby determined <br />to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public <br />-4W,, j <br /> <br />? <br />LJ
