0 <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 64' l2 <br />BY: W 1:gt? - <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTQR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE AND PUBLIC SAFETY TO AI7VERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />"SLURRY SEAL", AND DECLRRING AN EMERGENCYe <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service and Public Safety <br />has advised Council that in oa Sr hould be tret d with a preparation kni <br />of Nocth Olmsted that said ro own <br />as " slurry seal", and <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that the use of the <br />preparation knawn as "slurry seal" will act as a preventative mai.ntenanee <br />and will fill cracks in the p e roads and en ab ing itnto be ma nt nance <br />said roads thereby preservinq th <br />free for a longer period of time. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />? City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That the Director of Public Service anci Public <br />Safety be and he is herebyvaith ° the City of North O1 sted ir accordance 1" <br />treatment of certain roads ?? <br />with the plans and specifications now on file in his office. <br />Section 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, <br />health, safety and welfare of the City; WHEREFORE, thi.s Resolution shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the <br />earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED;i <br />Francis J.
