CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO.? <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUtHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACT FOR THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO IN AN APPLICATION AND <br />OTHER NECESSARY MATTERS FOR A FEDERAL GRANT UNDER <br />PUBLIC LAW 660 IN CONNECTION WITH IMPROVEMENTS <br />AND ADDITIONS TO TkiE SEWAGE TREATMENT SYSTEM AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />s <br />L-1 <br />• <br />WHEREAS, Public Law 660 provides for Federal assistance <br />in the construction of additions and improvements for sewage treat- <br />ment system, and <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio <br />has declared its intention to proceed with the construction of <br />additions and improvements to the City's Sewage Treatment System, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THEI, <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMS'TED, OHIO: <br />Seetion 1. That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized <br />and directed to submit an application to the United States Public <br />Health Service for Federal assistance under Public Law 660 and <br />further to furnish such information, data and documents pertaining <br />to the application and further to act as representative of the City <br />of North Olmsted, Ohio, in connection with said application. <br />Section 2. This resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of public <br />peace, health and safety, the emergency being the need for improve- <br />ments and additions to the City's sewage treatment system and <br />appurtenances thereto and as such this resolution shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage by Council and approval <br />by the Mayor, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Council; otherwise it shall take effect and <br />be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />Francis J. 0'Neill, President of Council <br /> <br />Attest: <br />Margaret T.
