CITY OF NOR?H OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NQ. 64-??)-A 40'* <br />BY <br />AN ORI7iNANGE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL MAP <br />AND TRAFFIC CONTROL FILE BY DESIGNATING ON THE MAP <br />. A NO PARKING ZONE ON A PORTION OF LORASN ROAD, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />• WHEREAS, it has been determined by Council that parking <br />on Lorain Road creates a hazard to motorists using Lorain Road, and <br />WHEREAS, Council, concerneci with the safety of people <br />living in the area and using the area has determined that to eliminate the hazard <br />which exists, fihe parking of vehicles on both sides of Lorain Rpad from the <br />westerly edge of Cuyahoga County to Dewey Road, both in the City of North <br />Olmsted, will be prohibited. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of <br />the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That the traffic control map (Codified Ordinance <br />• 305.01) be amended by designating thereon that parking is prohibited at all times <br />on both sides of that portion of Lorain Road which is described as follaws: <br />From the Westerly line of Cuyahoga County East to Dewey Road, both in the City <br />of North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Section 2: That the traffic cnntrol file (CJodified Ordinance <br />No. 305.02) be amended to record the designafiion of the prohibition of parking <br />at all times on that portian of Lorain Road described in Section 1 hereof and that <br />• the Police Department of the City of North Olmsted post official signs or markings <br />in the proper position on Lorain Road prohibitinq parking at all times. <br />Section 3: That a certified copy of this Ordinance be delivered <br />to the Police Department of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 4: That this Ordinance is hereby determined to be <br />an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public welfare, peace, <br />health and safety of the City by virtue of the existence of a dangerous condttion <br />requiring immediate regulation; WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and <br />be in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed <br />by law. <br />PASSED:IJ^4Z <br />E <br />Francis J.
