.? CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDIIdANCE NO. 64- Psge 5 A. Sanitary- sewers and connections shall be vitrified clsy with premium type joints. The senttary connection shall be 6 inches or larger in diameter. The depth of xhe sanitary sewer shall be such that the sanitary connection can discharge by gravity tnto said senitary sewer. Where this is not possible, basementless homes only will be permitted. Lots 'Eo be used for basementless homes shail be noted on the plat. B. Storm sewers shall be vitriffed clay pipe with premium type joints or . pre-molded bituminous joints or reinforced concrete pipe with premium or "slip seal" bituminous ioints. Storm sewer connecCions shall be 6 inches or larger vitrified clay pipe with. premium joints. The storm sewer shall be sized to provide for the storm drainage from the tributary area. Culverts and bridqes across dedicated streets shall be constructed by the developer.- A Major drainage ditches passing through the proposed subdivision shall be improved as necessary. If a ditch is relocated, a plan shall be submitted for approval. Atl ditches passing through a proposed subdivision for which the City Engineer determines the cuivert size to be 54" diameter circular pipe or equivalent, or less, shall be completely culverted through the subdivisian. For pipe sizes between 54" and 72" fnelusive, the developer shall negotiate with the City for fnstallation of same. Ditches requiring in excess of 72" culvert may remain open, but Council, upon the advice of the City Engineer, is'hereby empowered to require safd ditches to be fenced with a fence approved by the City Engineer, and providing that a minimum right-of-way of fifty (50) feet is provided for service to said ditch. Ditch banks shall be on a mirtmm two (2) horizontol to one (1) vertical slope and seeded. No relocated ditch bank shall be closer than 10 feet to adjoinLnq ProPertY • C. Water mains and appurtenances shall be constructed in accordance with the specifications of the City of Cleveland Water Department. D. Paving. 1. Residential: 7" reinforced concrete pevement with inteqral curbs, minimum width 25, 5 feet from back of curb to back of curb.' 2. Areas other than residential: 8" reinforced concrete pavement wfth integrai curbs, minimum width 32 feet from back of curbe to back of curb. E. Sidewalks: Concrete walks shall be 5 feet wide, 4 inches thick except at driveways where the thicknes$ shall be 6 inches. Wire rnesh shall be pravided and used throughout the entire length of the sidewalk. F. Driveway aprons shall have a minimum thiakness of 6 inches and shall be , flared taward the street a minimum of 3 feet wider on each side of the drlve- way. Wire mesh shall be provided and used. G. Trees shall be planted according to the MasterTree Plan specified by '.The Direetor of Public Seivice and Safety on file at North Olmsted Ctty Hall, and. H. The City Engineer has the authority to waive or increase the above improve- ment requirements when authorized by the Council of North Olmsted. All construction work required of the developer shall be done under the super- vision of the City Engineer and in the presence of a City Inspeetor.
