c;I'rY oP NORTH QLMSTED <br />RESQLTJTIUN NO. 67- 77 <br />BY <br />` A RESOLUTION I?ETERMTNIIVG THAT PUBLIC <br />iMPRQVEMENT SHOULD BE MADE, AND <br />7-)ECI.ARING AN E1viERGENCY <br />WriEREkS, this Council did heretofore adopt R.esolution Na. 67--18 <br />` on the 3rd d`3y of January, 1967, declarina therein the necessity of improving <br />Great Northern Boulevard in the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, by installing <br />storm and sanitary sewers, water main, sewEr and water curb connections, <br />t4gether with all necessary appurtenances <br />WHEREAS, the lawest arri best bid for !abar and mate:-ials for said imptovement received by the City of North Olmsted, exceeds the estimated cost <br />of such labor and materials heretofore filed in the office of the Clerk of this <br />Council; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ohfo Revised Code Sectian 727.24, a natice <br />of a FUhjic hearing on khe question of whether said fmprovement shauld be made <br />was duly published as required by ?avv; and <br />WHEFtE-AS, all property owners to be assessed forcaid improvement <br />amd wha desired to be heard on the question of whether said improvement should <br />be made were heard by this Gauncil at *.he time and place provided for in said <br />notice; and <br />W'HER£AS, this Gotincil has examined and reviEwed the lowest and best <br />bid for labor and materials for said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFC3RE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Gouncil of rhe Gity of <br />IIeJJorth OImsted, State of Jhia: Section 1: That it 3s hereby determined that the irnprovement <br />provided for in said Resolution No. 67-18 should be made. <br />Section 2: T1iat the Maycar is hereby authorizRd and directed to enter <br />fnto a contract on bPhalf of said City with the ic>west and best bidder for the <br />construction of said improvement. <br />Section 3: That this ordinance is hereby dec.lared to be an emPrgency <br />measure necessarr far the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, <br />safety anei welfare of the City by virtue of thP necessity tha* the development <br />of the City proceed in an orderly rnanner as rapidly as possblE.
