CITY OF NORTH OLM3TED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 65 - <br />. <br />BY <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORtZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER <br />• INTO A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE BLQS30M LAND <br />CORPORATION, THE NORTH OLMSTED BOARD OF <br />EDUCATION AND THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TO <br />ESTABLISH A TAP-IN CHARGE FOR THE NORTH <br />? OLMSTED BOARD OF EDUCATiON INTO THE SANI7Y <br />-RIDGE SUBDIVISION SEWER SYSTEM AND THE DOVER <br />ROAD LIFT STATION, AND DECLAn[NG AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, the City of Nocth Olmsted has adopted a plan to <br />sewer the northern part of the City of North Olmsted which lies east on <br />Dover Road; and <br />WBEREAS, in order to seivice said sewer system it is necessary <br />that the City construct a sanitary sewer iift station; and, <br />WHEREAS, said area described requires an 18" force main; and <br />WHEREAS, The Blossom Land Corporation has aqreed to conatruct <br />an 18" force main in exchanqe for the City of North Olmsted to build a <br />sanitary sewer lift station in this area; and <br />WHEREAS, said force main and sanitary sewer lift statibn will <br />service the area owned by the North Olmsted Board of Education upon <br />which the Board of Education is naw constructinq the public school; and <br />WHEREAS, the North Olmsted Board of fiducation, Blossom Land <br />Corporation and the Council of the City of North Olmsted has determined <br />that the proportionate share and the correct tap-in charqe of the North Olmsted <br />Board of Education is $13,500.00; and <br />WHEREAS, Council is now of the opinion that the City of North <br />Olmsted should enter into a contract with the Blossom Land CorpDration and <br />the North Olmsted Bosrd of Education to set forth the duties of each party <br />to the contract, includinq but not limited to the tap-in charqe to be assessed <br />to the North Olmsted Board of Education; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council naw wishes to authorize the Mayor to <br />enter into the aforesaid contract establishinq the tap-in charqe to be <br />- assessed to the North Olmsted Board of Education. <br />. ?, ,. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into <br />a contract with the Blossom Land Corporation and the North Olmsted Board <br />of Education whereby the North Olmsted Board of Education is assesaed the <br />sum of $13,500.00 as a tap-in charge.
