CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 65- Ja3 Paqe 2 913.04 SEWER CONNECTION REQUIRED. Connection with the sewer is required by the owner of any house, building or property situated within the City which is used for human occupancy, employment, recreation or other purposes and which is abutting on any street, alley or right of way in which there is naw or may in the future have located therein a sanitary sewer, which is part of the sanitary seweraqe system of the City. The owner, at his expense, shall install sanitaty sewerage facilities therein and connect such facilities directly with the sanitary sewer forming a part of the sewerage system of the City. Such connection by " the owner of any such house, buildinq or property shall be in accordance with the provisions of this chapter and shall be made within six months after receiving official notice from the City to make connection to the senitary sewerage system of the City provided that the sanitary sewer to which connection is to be made is within 250 feet of a property line ef such house, buildinq or other property used for human occupancy and abuttinq on any street, alley or riqht of way within the City. IVotice to make connection may be either'by certified mail or by residential service. (Ord. 61-143) Section2: This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure because it is necessacy for the immediate preaetvation for the public health, peace, safety and welfare, to immediately pcovide the chanqe in respect to sewer connections; WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passaqe, othecwise, at the earliest period allowed by law.
