L y ' f.y??,;? ??yy,,? ,?j..W •: ;?.` , ._ ,• <br />AGREEt1ENT <br />,THE CITY OF NORTN OLMSTED <br />AND <br />7NE BOARD OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />? <br />THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this 44/? day of <br />197, by and between the City of North Olmsted a municipal corporation organi <br />zed and existing under the Constitution and Laws of the State of Ohio, and the <br />Board of Cuyahoga County Commissioners, duly authorized by the following <br />ordinances passed by their respective council and board members: <br />Ordinance No._ 78-175_ on the 2nd_ _ day of <br />-- Januar.y_---- --, 1970. <br />Cuyahoga County - Resolution No. on the day of <br />----- <br />-------' <br />1978. <br />b1HEREAS, the City of North Olr.lsted and Cuyahoga County each own <br />sanitary sewer systems and storm dr•ainaUe systems; and, <br />4JtIEREAS, the Federal Water Pollution Control Act AmendnKnts of 1972 <br />(P.L. 92-500) provide for grants through the Federal Environr.iental Protection <br />Agency for planning (Step 1), detailed dPSign (Step 2) and construction <br />(Step 3) of wastewater treatment works, and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted has received priority No. 217 on <br />the EPA Priority List for Construction Grants dated May 25, 1978; and, <br />WNEREAS, Facilities Plans including infiltration/inflow analysis are <br />a prerequisite established by USEPA regulations,to obtaining Step 2 and Step 3 <br />. <br />grants; and, <br />WIIEREAS, North Olmsted and the County plan to apply for Step 2 and <br />Step 3 grants for improvenents to the wastetreatment works (sewage treatn?ent <br />plant and tributary ser,ers in conformance with the findings of an approved <br />Facilities Plan); and, <br />4JHEREAS, a Facilities Plan (including an infiltration/inflow analysis <br />which is a prerequisite to Step 2 and Step 3 grants must cover all tributary <br />areas to the facilities; and, <br />IJHEREAS, Worth Olmsted has been designated as the lead a??c?ncy to <br />apply for a Step 1 grant for the development of the Facilities Plan, incluciing <br />?..??;• ?? •??? :? <br />n.. ?
