<br />? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 78- / 7?/ <br />BY : Ak , <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAXQR TO ENTER <br />INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CQNSULTING PIRM <br />OF HOFF-WESTON FOR THE ILLUMINATION OF BROOKPARK <br />ROAD FROM LORAIN ROAD TO TfIE EAST CORPOR4TIpN LINE. <br />WHEREAS, Brookpark Road, within the City o£ North Olmsted, is without <br />street lighting, and <br />WIEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to take advantage of funds <br />available through Federal-aid Urban Highway System Funds, and <br />WHF.REA,S, it is the understanding of this Council that preliminary <br />engineering plans and specifications must be presented and that said plans and <br />specifications will not exceed Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00), of which <br />the City will be reimbursed on a Seventy Percent (70%) basis through Federal-aid <br />Urban Highway Systems Funds. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF TI-IE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Ma.yor be and he is hereby authorized to enter <br />into an agreement with the engineering firm of Hoff-Weston for a preliminary <br />engineering study of alternatives, preparation of construction plans, specifica- <br />tions and an estimate of costs in accordance with State and Federal standards. <br />The fee to be charged should not exceed Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00), <br />of which Seventy Percent (700) will be reimbursed through Federal-aid Urban <br />Highway Systems Funds. <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from <br />and after t e earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />--r <br />AT'TEST : <br />? . <br />FLO CE CA?VBELL, CLE OF COUNCIL D .
