., .?......w ....w? ?.+.?? :.... . ... .. . .. .:....a..vW....A......... . .. . . . _:-..:. ? ...? :.:,,, . . . <br /> <br />( f <br />CITY OF NORTH OLbISTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 78- /SL <br />BY : <br />? <br />AN ORDINANCE ANIFNDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL <br />MAP AND FILE OF T'I-IE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BY PROVIDING FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A <br />"NO RIGHT TURN ON RED" SIGN AT THE INTER- <br />SECTION OF LORAIN ROAD AND GREAT NORTIiERN <br />BOULEVARD. <br />WI-IEREA.S, this Council has heretofore amended the traffic control map <br />and file to prohibit right turns on red at the intersection at Great <br />Northern Boulevard and Lorain Road, and <br />'V]HEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to modify the prohibition <br />of "No Right Turn on Red" by permitting "Right Turn on Red on Saturdays <br />and Swzdays", and <br />Wf-IEREAS, Chanter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance <br />of the traffic control map, which said map is to be amended only by <br />ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OUISTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Police Department be and they are hereby authorized <br />to amen?lc the traffic control map and file of the City of North Olmsted, and <br />to indicate thereon "No Right Turn on Red except Saturdays and Sundays", <br />which sign shall control traffic traveling in a northerly direction on <br />Great Northern Boulevard where it intersects iaith Lorain Road, thereby <br />restricting right turns on red for individuals turning easterly on to <br />Lorain Road. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to have the <br />proper epartment cause said sign to be installed in accordance with the <br />terms of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from <br />and a te the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />FLORENCE CATv1PBELL, CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />APPROVED: <br />ROBERT W.
