BY: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SURPLUS PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY 'IT-E CITY OF NORTH OU.I,STED AND PREVIOUSLY USED BY TI-IE DEPAR'IT,1ENT OF PUBLIC SERVICES. UIHEFtEAS, the Council and the Administration have determined that various items of personal property owned by the City of North 0lmsted and formerly used by the Department of Public Services are no longer needed for municipal purposes, and h1HEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to sell said personal nroperty in accordance with law. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AIVD STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the following personal property wa.s formerly used by the Department o Pu lic Services and is no longer needed for municipal business, to wit: See Attached Schedule "A" made a part hereof as though fully rewritten herein. SECTION 2: That the Nlayor be and he is hereby authorized to sell said personal property to the highest bidder according to law provided, however, that the highest bid is approved by the Board of Control and further provided that the highest bidder shall, upon acceptance of the bid, pay to the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted twenty-five percent (250) of the bid price and that within five (5) days thereafter, the entire bid price shall be paid and the successful bidder shall accept and remove said property from the premises of the City. The Mayor, having been advised upon receipt of the full bid price, shall, if necessary, execute any and all documents reauired by law. SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in fu11 force fram and after tle earliest period allowed by law provided that this Ordinance shall be approved by at least two-thirds vote of all members of Council.
