CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 78- /YZ <br />By : 2 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 2,000 TONS OF <br />CINDERS AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR <br />SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be <br />and he isiereEy authorized to advertise for bids far 2,000 <br />tons of cinders in accordance with specifications now on file in <br />his office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, <br />the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and <br />execute the same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency resolution necessary .for the immediate <br />preservation of the public health and sa.fety; such necessity <br />exists by reason of the fact that snow and sleet storms may <br />soon create hazardous conditions, in consequence whereof <br />great inconvenience would be suffered by the public, and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two thirds <br />of all members elected to Council, it shall take e.ffect and <br />be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />PAS S E S:p",.(9'1e? <br />ATTEST: <br />?? ,?.?? f ? •? <br />Florence Campbe , C1erk of-Council <br />. <br />ew mpert, s ent o Counci <br />APBKR'ED : <br />ert W. wietyniows , ayor <br />
